Behind Wazlab is a long-running belief that stories shouldn’t be confined to just one format. What began as Baz Studios in the early 1990s has grown from a small creative endeavor into a studio that thinks in universes, not single projects—worlds that can live as books, audiobooks, podcasts, videos, live events, and more. That evolution is baked into how we approach every idea: if it starts as a book, we’re already imagining how it sounds, how it moves, how it might be experienced on a screen or in a room full of people.

Our physical home in Beacon, New York, is a big part of that story. Working out of Beacon Creative Industries (formerly The Cine Hub), we share space with filmmakers, audio engineers, photographers, musicians, and other creative professionals. It’s more than just an address—it’s a living network of collaborators and resources. That environment lets Wazlab function as both a publishing house and a production partner, with access to a stage, studios, and the technical backbone to support everything from podcasts to full-scale multimedia projects.

At the heart of our catalog is Adventures in Foreverland, a flagship IP that embodies what Wazlab is all about: imaginative, interactive storytelling built for curious minds. Foreverland isn’t just a book—it’s a growing universe of stories, puzzles, characters, activity books, and ambient experiences designed to pull readers and listeners deeper into its world. From traditional print and coloring books to immersive audiobooks and future digital experiences, Foreverland is our proof-of-concept that one strong idea can travel across mediums while still feeling cohesive and true.

Audio is another core pillar for us. Through our connection with Beacon Podcasting, Wazlab actively develops and supports podcasts, audiobooks, and experimental audio projects. We’re especially interested in the space where narrative, sound design, and technology meet—whether that’s cinematic-style podcasting, AI-assisted narration, or ambient storytelling channels designed for relaxation, focus, or late-night listening. For us, sound isn’t just a production layer; it’s a storytelling tool.

Looking ahead, Wazlab is committed to working with creators who see their work as more than a single product. We’re interested in authors, artists, and makers who dream in worlds, series, and ecosystems—people who want their stories to exist on shelves, in headphones, on screens, and beyond. Whether we’re developing internal IP or collaborating with outside talent, our goal stays the same: build meaningful, original media that feels handcrafted, human, and just a little bit unexpected.
